preserving cultural & Natural Heritage

Carpe Futurum puts funds to work addressing critical needs in the preservation and protection of cultural and natural heritage sites. The organization is dedicated to scholarship, research, art conservation, and the development of educational materials to advance this mission. Our current focus are the San Bartolo murals, the oldest and most complex Maya artworks in situ, located deep in Guatemala’s Maya Biosphere Reserve. Your donation will support the collaborative work of archaeologists, environmental scientists, and local community members to share the story of these ancient murals and protect them for future generations.
